🌟 [ 58 ]   Competition Tribunal hears applications by Sasol, Egoli Gas and Industrial Gas Users Association [ @SABC News ]

The Competition Tribunal is hearing two separate applications involving minerals giant Sasol and organisations the Industrial Gas Users Association of Southern Africa and Egoli Gas. The organisations filed a complaint with the competition commission last year accusing Sasol of abusing its dominance by charging an excessive price for natural piped gas. Sasol is fighting this application and the jurisdiction of the commission as it maintains the powers rest with the company and Nersa on the determination of prices for piped gas.
