The only woe from England s point of view is that they didn t bat the entire 50 overs and were bowled out for 368. The forms of Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root throughout the ODI series has been very poor. Skipper Jos Buttler has chipped in with the runs and Liam Livingstone has just gotten into next level, hitting runs at a good strike rate. All-Rounders Sam Curran and Moeen Ali need to finish for the team with the platforms they have been getting but haven t been able to do so. England have been rotating the pace bowlers with David Willey, Chris Woakes, Gus Atkinson, Reece Topley and Sam Curran. All of these have chipped in with wickets getting a good support to Adil Rashid, who has Moeen and Livingstone for company. New Zealand were on the top of the home side in the middle of this tour. After being thrashed in the first half of the T20I series, the Black Caps made a solid comeback to level the four-match series.
