A man who is yet to be identified was shot and killed at phase 1 in Bon Air Gardens, Arouca on Tuesday 9th April 2024. A man who was beaten by a group of men at Caura River on Monday 1st April 2024, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday 9th April 2024. • The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Govinda Ramesar, a Mechanic of Brickfield Road, Carapichaima. A man only identified as Kimani was found shot dead at the Western Cemetery, in George Cabral, St James earlier on Thursday 11th April, 2024. A 32-year-old man is warded in critical condition after he was injured during a shooting in Morvant on Wednesday 10th April, 2024. CCTV footage surfaced of a police officer fatally shooting a dog that allegedly attacked him in Diego Martin on Saturday 6th April, 2024. A man is expected to appear before the master of the High Court today to be charged with the murder of 23-year-old John Dyer in February, 2024. • The accused was identified as 19-year-old Ezekiel Greaves of phase 1, Beetham Gardens. On Tuesday 27th February, 2024: Dyer of Second Avenue, phase 1 Beetham Gardens, was stabbed at his home, but later succumbed to his injuries at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital on Tuesday 5th March, 2024. A suspect wanted for multiple sexual crimes in the United States of America was arrested in South Trinidad on Tuesday 9th April, 2024. • The 36-year-old male suspect of Glenroy Settlement, Princes town was arrested during an intelligence-led anti-crime exercise in the southern division. Four (4) persons died in four separate road traffic accidents in less than one week.
