🌟 [ 37 ] Meta Quest 2 Stabilised Recording | Automobilista 2 [ @Adam's SimPorium ]
I decided to try the built-in recording function of the Quest 2 with image stabilisation. How does it look to you? Is it comfortable to watch? It works flawlessly with Virtual Desktop (wirelessly), for both audio and video. I learned a few things along the way... The mic records at a fairly low volume. If you choose to capture the mic audio (option when you click record), it s on the same channel as the game audio, which means it can t be edited independently in post. Make sure to lower the game volume itself to cater for the low mic volume. My capture settings in the Quest 2 were high stabilisation (lowest FOV), highest bitrate of 20, and frame rate of 36fps. In hindsight the better option may be 24fps for editing and uploading. The game in the HMD was perfectly smooth, smoother than it looks in the video! -PC u0026 VR -
