•Moving over now to the tech industry where Elon Musk on Wednesday sent a company-wide email giving Twitter employees an ultimatum to work long hours or leave. Musk said Twitter needs to be (quote) extremely hardcore if it s to succeed against its competitors. This includes long working hours, with the Tesla CEO adding that only exceptional performance will be recognized. The bottom of the internal email allegedly contained a link to an online pledge form for those willing to accept the terms. Employees have until Thursday to make their decision. Those who opt to leave will be given three months severance pay.
