It s time to take a trip out west and discover the history of the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow - the line has seen station name changes, and has abandoned stations too! It was originally built as the District Line as far as Hounslow, so here s a historical run down with some nice animated graphics of how it all came together. Note: This is a reupload! It was originally published in 2020 - when it was a sponsored video. The sponsored portion has now been removed, and I ve added in a NEW section where I walk along an old alignment of the Piccadilly Line.
