There are two powertrain options for the Volvo XC40 , B4 and B5 both with a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder, an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The Volvo B4 powertrain has 194 horsepower and the B5 247 horsepower. Standard AWD in Canada. In the US, only the B5 powertrain is an AWD model, B4 FWD. The Volvo XC40 comes standard with a 12.3” driver display, 9” touchscreen, Google Assistant, Apple Carplay, heated comfort front leather seats, power driver seat with memory, power 4-way lumbar support, power tailgate, 18” wheels and blind spot monitoring and rear-cross traffic alert. Available features include, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, Harman Kardon sound system, 360-degree camera, pilot assist, adaptive cruise control, fog lamps with cornering function and park assist front, rear and sides. There is one feature the Volvo XC40 does not offer, ventilated front seats. In Canada, there is only one B4 model, it starts at $42,250 CAD.
