I used to make cupcakes all the time when we were going to the farmers market with our eggs and I would make different kinds of cupcakes and macaroons. It’s a farmers market and our local community that sells local produce, meat, and dairy plus baked goods. So not only would we sell our BSB farm eggs we would also bring baked goods and I feel like I’ve gotten away from that because I’ve been so busy with family, but also on social media that it kind of took that away from me and so I’ve recently been trying to find all my old recipes, and finally after searching and searching and searching, I found my homemade cupcake recipes that I actually worked on for months to find that perfect cupcake recipe. Here is my scratch, vanilla cupcake recipe: Ingredients: 1/2 cup of flour 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon of salt One cup of white sugar One stick of butter room temperature One large egg plus one egg yolk 3/4 teaspoon of pure vanilla 1/2 cup +2 tablespoons of whole milk Directions: 1. Mixed dry ingredients in a small bowl then into another bowl measure the milk. 2. Combine sugar and butter into light and fluffy next ad eggs and vanilla beat just mixed. Make sure to not mix your batter. 3. And batter ending with flour mix in between 4. For one additional minute. 5. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until done. My homemade cream cheese frosting ingredients: 1 8ounce package of cream cheese One stick of soften butter 1/8 of a teaspoon of salt 3 3/4 cup of powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla Directions: 1. Cream butter, cream, cheese, and salt together. 2. Slowly add in powdered sugar. 3. Add vanilla mix well. 4. Using a piping bag swirl on top of cooled cupcakes, and sprinkle with colored sprinkles. I also have a from scratch chocolate recipe, red velvet recipe, and my chocolate frosting and other flavored frosting. Thank you for joining me on this live.
