🌟 [ 80 ]   Golden Strong Ale Brewing and Recipe - Homebrew Jar of Destiny [ @Brew Dudes ]

John brewed a Belgian Golden Strong Ale as part of the Jar of Destiny series. We continue on with tasting these great beers and this one is by far a lead candidate for the best JoD to date. At 8.5% ABV it is certainly the strongest Jar of Destiny beer. This one had perfect notes of pear and spice. There was a touch of classic peppery phenolics on the nose. The flavor did not disappoint with more pear and spice. But very soft and dry in the finish. This beer was so super drinkable its hard to be pounding it at 8.5%.
