As we arrive at the beautiful Churchgate Lakes, we were escorted to our swims on a buggy. The lake is situated in a beautiful countryside in Essex, this complex offers everything the modern carp angler has come to expect, bringing French fishing to Essex, making it the perfect spot for our fishing expedition. We start by setting up our equipment and preparing our bait, using Parker Baits products. Garedd walks us through the process, explaining how to use the bait effectively and maximize our chances of catching some carp. We get the Ridgemonkey Bait boat out and attach the Deeper, a sonar device that will help us locate the depth of the lake and identify where the carp are located.
