Elon Musk hosted a Twitter Spaces event for Ron DeSantis s presidential campaign launch. The event immediately crashed, and people could be heard on the Space trying to troubleshoot what was wrong. At one point, someone said, Just keeps crashing, huh? After a few minutes, Musk began his remarks saying that it was an incredible honor to host DeSantis in this space. He was then immediately cut off as music started playing for 20 seconds instead. The technical difficulties during the event were a major setback for DeSantis s campaign. The event was supposed to be a major opportunity for Florida s Governor to reach a large audience and announce his candidacy for president. However, the technical difficulties made it difficult for people to listen to the event, and it may have caused some people to lose interest in the Republican s campaign.
