Initially they focused on rotating the strike and respecting good deliveries. However once Jaiswal reached his half-century he shifted gears and Shubman Gill also began to play his shots freely. Jaiswal's wide array of strokes was evident as he aggressively tackled the English bowlers achieving a splendid century his second of the series. Gill played a supportive role securing his own fifty as well.

Unfortunately while celebrating his hundred Jaiswal sustained a back injury and had to retire hurt. Patidar failed to make an impact departing for a duck. Gill remained solid at the crease and along with nightwatchman Kuldeep played out till Stumps extending the hosts' lead to a massive 322 runs.

The second session clearly belonged to India as Ben Stokes' dismissal while attempting to accelerate followed by Foakes' quick departure on the next ball shifted the momentum decisively in favor of the hosts. Despite Duckett's exceptional century England suffered a collapse after being 207/2 and were eventually bowled out for 319 runs.

Jadeja made crucial breakthroughs after Lunch dismissing the English skipper among others while Siraj swiftly wrapped up the innings. In response India's openers adopted a cautious approach aiming to tire out the English bowlers. However skipper Rohit fell to Joe Root's bowling just before Tea. Jaiswal and Gill ensured no further setbacks guiding India to a lead of 170 runs by the end of the session.

England began their batting innings with the scoreboard showing 207/2 with Ben Duckett batting at 133 and Root providing support. However Joe Root's decision to attempt his favourite reverse scoop resulted in his dismissal a pivotal moment in the game. Bairstow followed suit falling for a duck to a brilliant delivery from Kuldeep. The loss of early wickets forced Duckett to alter his approach ultimately leading to his downfall after a superb knock of 153 runs.

Skipper Ben Stokes anchored one end firmly and unleashed some powerful shots towards the end of the session while Ben Foakes initially struggled but managed to survive until Lunch. The Indian bowlers were relentless from the start with Jasprit Bumrah setting the tone by dismissing Root and Kuldeep weaving a spell around the English batters giving the hosts a slight advantage heading into the break.

India concludes Day 3 with a significant advantage in this Test match. Session Summary - 152 runs and 1 wicket in 35 overs. Termed the Moving Day the game has distinctly shifted in favor of the hosts. Despite concerns over the absence of Ravichandran Ashwin the Indian bowlers showcased remarkable resilience staging a fine fightback.

Their stellar bowling performance provided the platform for the batters to express themselves freely. Jaiswal capitalized on this opportunity crafting a splendid century while Gill redeemed himself after a lacklustre first innings. Their performances have propelled the Men in Blue into a commanding position in the match.

Mohammed Siraj is up for a quick chat. He talks about the plans being very well executed at the field from the start and that's what set the tone for him to grab those quick wickets. He adds by saying that a yorker is a very good option to bowl in a Test match and get a lot of wickets. He talks about being consistent with the line and lengths which is very important against these English batters. Ends by saying that the rest was really good for him and helped him come back well.
