🌟 [ 22 ]   The Lost Sun - Chasing The Solar Eclipse On A Wilderness Canoe Trip [ @Canoe The North ]

This is the first canoe trip of the season for me in 2024. The ice had just come off and all I had heard about on the news was the total solar eclipse that would cover parts of Ontario in darkness. At the last minute, after seeing that Frontenac provincial park laid within the path of totality, I decided that my first real canoe trip of the season would be me chasing the total eclipse of 2024. What a trip it would be! At the time, I had no idea what I was doing, or how I would capture the eclipse, but I could not be happier or more excited to have been witness to such an incredible experience! During the eclipse, the clouds parted just enough to get some shots that I think really show the awesome beauty of this extraordinary event. I sincerely loved this trip and could not be more happy to share this experience with you. What an incredible start to the paddling season! This is going to be an awesome year on the water.
