WAN 2.1 (Open-source, local, free) LTX (Open-source, local, free) Adobe Firefly (Paid, cloud-based) I test their video generation time, output quality, and how well they follow prompts. I also take a deeper look into WAN 2.1’s different versions, comparing 480p vs. 720p, as well as FP8 vs. quantized models.
Beyond the comparisons, I share my personal take on each model, outlining the pros and cons of both free open-source solutions and paid cloud-based options.
To wrap up, I showcase two AI video workflows in ComfyUI—one for LTX and one for WAN 2.1, helping you get started with both models.
